BCBUU Students Awarded on the First Global Youth Vision Forum
During Feb 19 to 26, Asia-Pacific Youth Foundation (APYF) for Communication and Development, joined by Gentala Institute, Indonesia, initialed the first Forum of Global Youth Vision (GYV). Centering around the theme of “Energy transition and social effects,” over 40 Chinese and Indonesian youth delegates from universities researched and presented their projects on the forum, communicating and spreading visions of youth on the energy transformation Cooperation and sustainable development between the two countries. Dr. Qian Chunli and Dr. Li Jianling with BCBUU also attended the forum as invited guests of partner delegates of Model APEC project, which is also an international forum organized by APYF.
BCBUU students, delegated by An Xinyi from IET1901B, Jiang Pinfan and Mihriya Muhtar from IB2001B, worked respectively together with Indonesian partners through the process of literature research, project design, program assessment, and final presentation. An xinyi and her partners’ proposal, Gasoline Rainbow, for the energy transition in China and Indonesian cooperation was awarded the Best Solution on the Forum. This experience offered a full exercising on cross-cultural communication, research and project promotion for them.
