BIDC of BUU elected as a council member of ECIA
The Fifth Digital China Summit was held in Fuzhou, Fujian Province, from July 22 to 24, 2022. Dr. Jiang Jingjing, Director of Beijing Institute of Digital Currency (BIDC) of Beijing Union University (BUU), attended the conference on behalf of BIDC, and delivered a keynote speech at the Digital RMB Sub-forum.
During the Summit, a new industry alliance was founded on July 24 to support and promote the use of digital RMB, or e-CNY: e-CNY Industry Alliance (ECIA). BIDC was elected as a council member of the alliance, and Dr. Jiang Jingjing was elected as the deputy Secretary-General.
After the meeting, Dr. Jiang Jingjing accepted an interview by Fujian TV station, illustrating her insight on the impact that e-CNY would brought on macro, medium and micro levels, as well as the future work plan of the alliance.
