BC Faculty and Staff Attends New Accreditation Training
From September 22 to 23, 6 key faculty and staff members of Busienss College attended the "International Accreditation Helps the Development of Business Schools Seminar" in in Shanghai. The seminar was organized by Shanghai Bibi Information Technology Co., Ltd.. Professor Michel Li of Fu Jen University gave a series of lectures on the AACSB Business Accreditation Standards 2020. Starting with the differences between the 2020 and 2013accreditation standards. Prof. Li illustrated the principles and spirit behind the standards, and explained to the attendees the main requirements and difficulties of the new version of the accreditation standards. He also demonstrated how to prepare accreditation documents with specific cases. Prof. Chen Jianbin, executive dean of BCBUU, shared the college's accreditation history and experience as a guest speaker.
Through the training on the new accreditation standards, BCBUU faculty and staff have further understood the connotation of accreditation and realized the direction that must be improved, and efforts must be made for the maintenance of accreditation. This seminar is an important event for the College as it enters a new phase, faces new challenges, and begins a new journey after passing the AACSB initial accreditation in 2022. The College will combine the "14th Five-Year Plan" and international accreditation, constantly seek re-innovation, achieve new goals and strive to build the College into an international boutique business school with diversity, equality, tolerance and a sense of belonging.
