Dean Jiang Jingjing Leads Delegation at AACSB 2025 Global Annual Conference

Date:2025-04-14

From April 7 to 9, Dean Jiang Jingjing led a delegation to the 2025 International Conference and Annual Meeting (ICAM 2025) organized by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Zhai Jing, Director of the Dean’s Office, and Cui Wei, Chair of the College Professor Committee, accompanied the delegation.

The conference was held at the Austria Center Vienna, attracting nearly 1,200 faculty members and administrators from business schools across 70 countries and regions. Participants gathered to discuss the latest trends in business education. Among them, over 100 representatives from 48 Chinese mainland institutions attended the event. The conference focused on how business education can evolve to address challenges posed by rapidly changing external environments and the swift advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) technology.

Over the three-day event, in addition to keynote presentations, multiple parallel sessions and themed group discussions were organized. AACSB carefully selected speakers for the conference: aside from AACSB International President Lily Bi, who presented the 2025 Business Education Outlook, peers in business education shared practical experiences, while industry representatives and academic administrators exchanged insights on enhancing business management education through industry-academia collaboration.

Dean Jiang Jingjing was invited to deliver a speech, where she introduced the strengths and distinctive features of the university and the college. She emphasized the transformation of governance paradigms and value enhancement in business schools, as well as how the college, driven by its mission, focuses on digital currency research to serve regional development. Her presentation was well-received by the audience.

To further expand the college’s influence, Dean Jiang Jingjing also met with AACSB East Asia Regional Head Xu Guodong during the conference. They discussed plans for the college-initiated "Research Alliance on Internationalization of Business Schools" to host a parallel session at the upcoming 2025 AACSB Asia Pacific Accreditation Conference.

This marks the first time a representative from the college has been invited to speak at the conference. The alliance will also co-host a parallel session with AACSB at the upcoming Asia Pacific Accreditation Conference, signaling the college’s emergence on the international stage and its strides toward a new level of globalization.
