On the afternoon of September 9, 2019, the Beijing Fashion Summit Forum—Beijing Union University Sub-forum and the Second Brand and New Media Summit Forum were held. Nearly 100 leaders from government, associations, enterprises and journalists gathered in Business College of Beijing Union University! With the advent of 5G, we will jointly provide diversified solutions for the brand development of the fashion industry!

The summit was hosted by Teacher Wang Rong, Deputy Director of the Brand Research Center of Beijing Union University, and Han Xianzhou, Chair of the University Council of Beijing Union University, delivered the opening speech of the summit. Chair Han first thanked all sectors of society for their support and attention over the past three years, which enabled Beijing Union University to gradually develop from a local university to an urban application-oriented university in recent years. From the perspective of running a school, Chair Han hopes that there will be more forums like Fashion Week in the school. He also hopes that our teachers and students will have more opportunities to get out of the school, improve the quality of talent training, and improve the level of running a school.

At the conference scene, Gu Weida, Deputy Chair of the University Council of Beijing Fashion Holding Co., Ltd., delivered a speech on the theme of "Thoughts on Creative & Fashion Industry Empowering Capital City Renewal". It was deployed mainly from the three directions of "the practice of urban renewal empowered by the creative & fashion industry", "the dilemma of the creative & fashion industry in promoting the renewal of the capital", and "the idea of empowering the urban renewal of the capital by the creative & fashion industry", expanding another new idea for the development of creative & fashion industry and brand through case analysis during the speech.

At the sub-forum, Wang Yonggui, Vice President of Capital University of Economics and Business, delivered a speech on the theme of "On the Way of Brand Breakthrough", discussing the brand practice in the new era, and shared the enterprise's solution to achieve brand breakthrough combined with his own rich tutor experience.

Yang Qingsong, Secretary-General of CCAGM, Yang Juan, CEO of Beike Work, and Sun Jie, Associate Prof. of Business College of Beijing Union University, successively delivered speeches. The topic of Secretary-General Yang Qingsong's speech was "Development and Innovation of Department Store Industry"; the topic of Yang Juan's speech was "New Cultural and Creative Industries, New Fashion-Two-way Empowerment of Cultural Value and Industrial Value"; the topic of Associate Prof. Sun Jie's speech was "Research on the Development of Service Fashion Industry". They shared their own innovative technology applications and demonstrated practice application results of the fashion industry.

The emergence of Convergence Media has made the connection between consumers and brands closer. How to make full use of it and inject new impetus into fashion brands is the most concerned topic of this conference.
Yi Lehu, head of industry research at Beijing Havezan Technology Co., Ltd., explained in detail how brands in the 5G era can quickly grab consumers through Convergence Media and reshape corporate brands and the new pattern of economic growth with the topic of "Fashion Brand Marketing in the Convergence Media Era".

At the end of the keynote speech, Qi Jing, Deputy Chief of the Talent Section of the Organization Department of Chaoyang District Committee and Deputy Director of the Beijing Chaoyang International Executive Business Talents Development Center, introduced the international high-end business talent policy and related conditions of Chaoyang District. Director Qi pointed out that the talents in cultural and creative industries are the focus of the International High-end Business Talent Development Center of Chaoyang District, and the creative fashion industry is also the main driving force for business transformation. He expressed his support for this summit.

The second stage of the conference, the roundtable forum, was hosted by Guo Huixin, Associate Prof. of Marketing in the Department of E-commerce, Business College of Beijing Union University. Guests included Yang Qingsong, Secretary-General of CCAGM, Zhao Yan, Chairman of Beijing Dahua Fashion & Technology Development Co., Ltd., and Yang Juan, CEO of Beike Work. The roundtable forum involved multi-level discussions on the theme of brand and fashion in the context of Convergence Media, striving to sort out the context of the fashion industry, interpreting the changes in social structure in the 5G era, and the new needs of consumer groups, and helping fashion brands penetrate the fog of the market and move forward a more brilliant future.

At the end of the roundtable forum, Chen Jianbin, Executive Dean of the Business College of Beijing Union University, summarized the activities of the 2019 Beijing Fashion Summit Forum—Beijing Union University Sub-forum, spoke highly of the wonderful speeches of the present speakers, and looked forward to working with people in all walks of life to make another splendid achievement in 2020.
