Founded in 1978, BCBUU was originally the first branch of Beijing Institute of Technology. In 1985, it was merged with Beijing Union University and then renamed the College of Textile Engineering. In 1997, with the development of Beijing's economic structure, it was transformed into a business college. Located in the Central Business District (CBD) of Beijing, where international finance and modern service industries converge, BCBUU has a unique advantage in serving the international economic and financial development of the capital. Since its establishment, BCBUU has adhered to the university's motto of "learning to apply knowledge", and is committed to building a business school with extensive international links that is highly regarded by the local business community through its continuous fulfilling its social responsibility in regional social and economic development by supplying future core talent of business administration and advancing applied innovation and research.
