Planning New Journey with All Minds and Wisdom for BCBUU
After acquiring the initial accreditation of AACSB, the College now stands at an unprecedented new starting point. The key issue that the College facing now is how to make continuous improvement based on AACSB standard and build an international boutique business school with unique societal impact.
Recently, the leadership of the college focused on the formulation of the strategic plan for international development, and organized a series of seminars on the internationalization strategy with faculty, the Professors' Committees and college management, listening to all opinions and suggestions at different levels and from multiple perspectives, and discussing the implementation and refinement of mission-related strategies and policies. The comprehensive discussions boosted morale of faculty and staff and unified their thoughts for continuous improvement.
Participants of these seminars, on the basis of full investigation and thinking, had in-depth discussions on the internationalization development for local business schools from the aspects of guiding principles, paradigms, trends and practices. They also put forward concrete suggestions on the internationalization of talent training, research, faculty development and campus construction. With brand-new understandings and unified thinking by combining traditional internationalization ideas with local internationalization concepts, the seminar provides a useful reference for the College to formulate its strategic plan for maintaining AACSB accreditation and to promote the high-quality development of its business education.
