BCBUU Delegation Attends AACSB Seminars
To further advance the college's international accreditation and high-quality development, Dean Jiang Jingjing led a delegation consisting of faculty members, Prof. Liu Jie and Dr. Liu Liguo to attend two themed seminars organized by AACSB in Guangzhou on November 7 and November 9 respectively.
On November 7, Jiang Jingjing and Liu Jie participated in the AACSB Strategic Planning Seminar held at South China Normal University. The seminar focused on the core elements of strategic planning within the accreditation standards, covering environmental analysis, key performance indicator formulation, risk management, and micro-plan implementation. This provided important reference for the construction of our college's strategic management system.
On November 9, Liu Liguo went to Guangdong University of Technology to attend the AACSB "Social Impact seminar". Led by Geoff Perry, Executive Director for Asia Pacific at AACSB, the seminar delved into how social impact standards can be integrated with the college's strategy and resource allocation, helping our college better fulfill its social responsibility in business education.
The two training sessions were complementary and highly practical, offering valuable experience for our college to align with international accreditation standards, optimize discipline construction, and refine strategic planning. The college will leverage the outcomes of these trainings to further promote the development of a high-quality business education system.
