With the arrival of the Loong Year, spring returns and the BCBUU is updated. On the morning of January 12, the New Year 2024 Party, organized by the College Labor Union, was held in the multifunctional hall, where all the faculty and staff of the College gathered to celebrate the coming of New Year.

The College's leadership team took the stage to share a New Year's greeting, hoping that the faculty and staff will work together in the coming year to achieve a bright future as a premier international business school.

Happy Dance, brought by Li Hongjuan, Liu Jihua, Jiang Yongbo, Wang Rong and other faculty and staff members, started the party with a passionate and exciting rhythm, and it made everyone there feel a surging enthusiasm in the winter.

Li Jixin, head of the Logistics & Security Office, served as the director, and Lu Jun, Wang Gengshui, Niu Yinghua and Jing Guijin sang "Unity is Strength," which conveyed the perseverance and responsibility of the Logistics & Security Team, and also represented the unity of the BCBUU people.

The faculty of e-commerce recited the poem "I Love Going to Work", showing the "love and passion" between work and life with humorous words. Work is also a kind of life, and working with full of passion will bring a more brilliant life.

Cui Jianing and Chen Chunchun's duo "Love the Mountains and Rivers, Love the Beauty More" demonstrated the "lofty ambition and pride" in today's college campuses with emotional singing, implying their pursuit of the first-class universities in China and internationally renowned.

Executive Dean Chen Jianbin led the staff of the Executive Office and the Office of Scientific Research to perform the original sketch "After the Journey to the West", which tells the story of the the College’s AACSB accreditation. All the actors in the program are vivid in costumes, skillful in movements, emotional in lines. The performance is full of fun and hilarious actions, just like the 2024 version of the famous movie, "A Chinese Odyssey" by Stephen Chow.

"True Hero" was led by Liu Yingchun and Zou Deren from the Faculty of Finance, who sang along the audience. The video accompanying the song reviewed the wonderful moments of BCBUU's journey in 2023. On the road of advancing the college, it is inseparable from the efforts of each of us!

Zhang Xin's solo "As You Wish" demonstrated with her sweet voice that in this endless history, each individual’s struggle and responsibility produce their own strength. All the strength runs through the long years and be poured into the blood of the people. This is the power of faith.

The sketch "Anti-Fraud Stories" brought by financial faculty including Liu Yingchun, Liu Wei, and Jiang Jialing reminded us to keep our wallets safe and stressed the importance of financial education for financial security in our daily lives.

Tian Yuan and her two cute children, the Orange Duo, performed "Dance and Martial Arts". The childrens’ action was clear and powerful, their movements were stretched and elegant with both gentleness and firmness, making the performance a pleasant and harmonious scene. The three females of the family on the stage revealed Chinese women’s love for fitness.

The innovative "Little Man's Dance" jointly launched by the Office of the Educational Affairs and the Lab Center, which performs various dance movements to music, is cheerful and lively.

The BCBUU New Year’s Party is a tradition. Three years after the "Fight against the Epidemic", all the faculty and staff are able to gather together again to celebrate a happy moment and make best wishes for the safety of the people and the world.

The party also invited all those who had supported the running of college, including faculty members from other BUU colleges, and staff from the BUU hospital, finance office, library, canteen, dormitory keepers, security guards, cleaning and other employees to join in the party as they are also members of the big family.
